NNM Cares Committee: The NNM Annual Giving Committee is the most critical fundraising effort for our school as it provides resources that support educational initiatives that tuition alone does not cover. With the many changes that this year presents, the campaign will look different and all fundraising efforts for the school year will be focused on NNM Cares and how we as a community can come together to support one another and the school.
We will be forming ONE committee this year called the NNM Cares Committee that will support fundraising efforts for NNM Cares, coordinating events that build community, and supporting other opportunities to express gratitude throughout the year.
Big Night: Friday, March 5, 2021: The Big Night event, held annually each March entirely benefits NNM's Scholarship Program which is the primary source of tuition assistance to our families and fulfills the school's commitment to creating a socio-economically diverse community. Members of this committee help solicit donations and with the planning and execution of the entire event.
Diversity and Inclusion Committee: Open to all NNM parents. The Committee meets once per quarter to engage in discussion centered around diversity, equity, and inclusion. Through open conversation and information sharing, we strive to grow our individual and collective cultural competency, to establish a shared language, and to build community. Committee meetings offer NNM parents the opportunity to further home-school partnership and actively participate in the social justice work happening in their child's classroom.
Rooftop Urban Farm: Chicken checkers are needed this year for Saturdays and Sundays, time of day TBD.
Halloween Celebration: Friday, October 30, 2020: This year we are reimagining the Halloween Celebration and offering fun activities for the whole family that can be done form the comfort of your home.
