Big Night is our biggest fundraiser of the year when we come together as a school community to celebrate and support NNM’s financial aid program. We believe that our community is strengthened by the socioeconomic diversity that financial aid enables us to have. Last year, nearly 20% of the student body received some form of financial assistance - an increase over past years that we are proud of and motivated by. We hope to continue to increase financial aid contributions and the number of financial aid students at NNM.

Big Night is a big night for NNM because the majority of funding raised to support financial aid comes in through the event. In 2024, over 350 guests attended. Together we raised over $500,000. Plus, it’s a really fun night out and it advances our shared mission to make NNM accessible and inclusive.

What can I expect at the event?

Big Night is a big cocktail party. What our people seem to love most about the event is the opportunity to dress up, get out, and mingle. Rockwell on the River has indoor and outdoor spaces, so whether you want to have a quiet conversation on the deck or dance by the DJ, we’ve got you covered. Any attire is appropriate. Most folks trend towards “cocktail chic,” but anything from formal dress to business casual is the typical range. Aside from outstanding food, drinks, and entertainment, the evening hosts a robust silent auction that features our school’s beloved parent parties, teacher-hosted events and sought-after experiences, and auctioneer-led paddle raise. Our goal is to create opportunities for every member of our community to participate.

How can I support financial aid through Big Night 2025?

There are four key ways to help raise money for financial aid through Big Night:

Buy a ticket to join us at the event. Tickets will go on sale in January 2025.
Sponsor the event. Your sponsorship donation supports our mission while also creating high visibility marketing opportunities along with other perks.
Donate experiences, goods and services for the auction. The NNM community goes big for travel, unique adventures, art, and culinary experiences.
Raise your paddle during the live auction to provide additional tuition assistance.
