Extended Day & Weekends
Enrichment extended day
NNM offers General Extended Day for all students ages 2 to 14 and select specialty Extended Day classes for students ages 4 to 14.

Families will be able to sign up for General Extended Day or specialty Extended Day classes each trimester.
General Extended Day will accept drop-ins on a case-by-case basis.
Specialty Extended Day
Specialty Activities
NNM offers a variety of specialty activities for children ages 4 to 14. Specialty activities include art, technology, cooking, martial arts, chess, swimming, ceramics, and more. These activities run the length of the fall, winter, or spring session. Families register for specialty activities during fall, winter, and spring registration.
Specialty Rotations
Elementary (ages 6-9), Upper Elementary (ages 9-12), and Junior High (ages 12-14) students signed up for General Extended Day will have the option to try different activities in short, 4–6 week rotations. Students will choose from activities like technology in the STEAM studio, cooking classes, open art studio, and more. Junior High students will have opportunities for library time, Extended Day internships, life-skills workshops, and other meaningful work.
Weekends at NNM
Spend your Saturdays at Near North Montessori! Join us for adult/child swim, martial arts, dance, sports, and more. Programs are available for children as young as 6 months through 14 years, and run year-round. You do not need to be a current NNM family to participate in weekend programs.
