Athletics

Fostering Holistic Growth
NNM’s curriculum is built around teaching the whole child — mind and body. Through sports and physical education, students develop motor skills, explore interests, and collaborate with peers, preparing them to lead fulfilling lives.
Team Sports
Our Upper Elementary (ages 9-12) and Junior High (ages 12-14) learn to develop physical abilities and discover the importance of teamwork through team sports. NNM teams play in the Chicago Area Middle Schools (CAMS) Athletic League. Athletics are offered year round and are divided into three seasons:
FALL
Co-ed Swim Team
Co-ed Cross Country
Girls Volleyball
Boys Flag Football
Boys Soccer
WINTER

Developmental Gym
During their daily work periods, Primary (ages 3-6) and Elementary (ages 6-9) students have the choice to go to Developmental Gym. Here, students can develop cognitive strength and motor skills through a variety of whole-body motions. During the morning work periods, students can visit developmental gym to self-regulate, expel excess energy or simply refocus.
