Our specialty camps include something for everybody! We offer programs focusing on core skills such as reading, mathematics, and adjusting to a new classroom. We also have a wide variety of studio arts, performing arts, technology, science, culture, sports and outdoors programs. There is sure to be something just for you! #101 SKILL READINESS FOR STAY-UPPERS (NNM families only)
Ages: Stay-uppers
Get a jump on the new school year! In this camp, stay-uppers will build confidence by practicing with Montessori math materials and focusing on language activities leading to beginning reading and word building. Cursive handwriting practice will also be emphasized. It's not all work, though: time to play outdoors and get wet in the pool rounds off fun days at camp. Skill Readiness campers will attend Thursday field trips with the Bambini Day Camp.

This course will focus on helping students refine and expand academic skills including reading, writing and mathematics. Strengthening these skills will not only prepare students for academic success, but will also build their confidence as they enter a new year in 9-12. This course will introduce students to important skills for the Cosmic Autobiography 6th-grade project.
