Basketball
Welcome to the Near North Montessori Basketball Program. The 2007/2008 season promises to be another great year for NNM hoops. On Thursday, November 1st, we will hold a team placement tryout for 6th-8th grade boys at Pulaski Park from 3:30-5:30. On Monday November 5th, we will hold a team placement tryout for 6th-8th grade girls in the NNM gym from 3:30-5:30. These tryouts will determine on which team the student-athlete will participate. We will have A teams that will compete against 8th grade players and B teams that will compete against 6th and 7th graders. It is important to dress appropriately for the tryout.
All student-athletes and parents must sign and return our student-athlete agreement and parent agreement before the first game of the season. This agreement Ćonsures that woĆare all working toward the same goals as a community. Parents and students will also receive a copy of the NNM Athletic Handbook. This handbook will be a key resource in navigating the basketball season.
