Thank you to those parents who took time out of their morning today to attend our workshop, The Road to Success is Paved with Failures.  Caroline and I really enjoyed your questions and the discussions that came from them!

Above is a video (less than 5 minutes) that highlights some key research data from Carol Dweck’s study on Growth Mindset vs. Fixed Mindset.  Here is one more video (2.5 minutes) about the Visual Cliff Study that was mentioned, and how a parent’s facial expression can influence a child’s decision to try a task or avoid it.
