Bugs and bunnies and all things alive are the subjects that inspire young sculptors in this ceramics class for young students. With clay, the possibilities are both three dimensional and endless. Get slimy and silly as you learn about art and the creative process working with clay.

A triangle becomes a nose and two circles are eyes when you sit down to make ceramic people! It is fun to investigate the human form with clay. Simple forms are the starting point for the people you make. Is she smiling? Is he mad? Hairy or bald? Is it you or a stranger? The fun is in your hands as you decide the details!

This crafty kids’ project takes on a life of its own! Put your imagination to work in this course where students make puppets and explore creative expression. Each day brings new adventure as students glue, color, write group stories and create. You produce your own puppet show! Discover your creative voice through the characters you create.

YeeeeeHaaaaah! Calling all cowgirls and cowboys to this creative experience set in the Wild West! Students round up plenty of fun as they make simple props and costume pieces for use in their very own performance. Cooperation and creativity are the ways of the west for this week of fun. It is an arty garden party! Explore the beauty and mystery of the garden and add some beauty of your own. Students are introduced to the concept of murals. You work together in the garden and use your hands to create an artistic expression inspired by nature! Class includes finger painting, patterns and design.
Creatures of the Deep Blue Sea for Ages 4 – 6 * Open to 3 year old with at least one year completed at NNM
The ship to fun is about to sail! Mermaids and sea monsters are the focus of this workshop in crafts and theatre games. You make art and perform in this one week ocean adventure. Basic performance skills and improvisational techniques make for good times that you won’t soon forget. Ahoy, mateys!

Unravel the mysteries of the garden in this fun outdoor adventure. You use all your senses as you investigate and learn about nature’s secrets. Every day new answers unfold as you explore the miracles of garden insects, soil and food! Gardens never seem the same again!
Song Makers for Grades 1 – 6
If music is what feelings sound like, then we cannot wait to hear how you are feeling! Giggles and imagination are what these songs are made of. Campers use a variety of instruments to compose your own songs. Students are introduced to the basics of song writing and lyrics. Anyone can do it if they try! Write your own originals and when it is all over you receive a CD of the class songs.
