Enjoy active learning that develops friendships and skills at the Near North Montessori Summer Program Experience. Camp counselors approach each child as an individual as NNMS campers play, grow and laugh. From ceramics to soccer, circus skills to gardening, this summer’s activities offer fun and learning for a wide range of interests—including many new options for Jr. High students. Day Camps (more here)
(Explorers, ages 6-12/*Bambini, ages 4-6) For children ages 4-12, day camps are the perfect place for kids who want a variety of activities in a safe, nurturing environment. Students in day camps play and explore indoor and out. Every Thursday is a special day for day campers as the elementary age Explorers travel to a field trip and the Bambini students are entertained by a special performance or experience. Bambini and Explorers have regular use of the NNM indoor pool.
Active Skills Camps (more here)
Summer time is the perfect time for action. From dancing, to martial arts to sports skills and outdoor activities, Active Skills camps provide physical activity and active learning.
ChicagoGo Camps (more here)
In the Windy City with so much to see, sometimes we just need to go, ChicagoGo. Students in ChicagoGo camps travel to points of cultural interest in the Chicago area. Using primarily public transportation, students travel in groups with camp counselors where each day is a new experience.

Summer vacation is here, but learning goes on. From chess, to robotics, to writing and math skills, Discovery Learning camps focus on students who want to have a summer brain workout.
Experience Arts Camps (more here)
Whether it’s dance, landscape drawing or ceramics, this program offers a variety of arts for the creative camper ages 4-14.
Jr. High Camps (more here)
For the teenage camper who needs a little more independence, a little more challenge, and the company of peers, Jr High camps are designed for you. From camping to academics, this program is the summer meeting place for Jr. High.
All full-day campers (specialty and day camps) grades 1 – 6 attend a Thursday field trip. Bambini campers are treated to special entertainment on Thursdays. Full day campers swim in our indoor pool several days per week.
Campers can also take part in our Early Morning Care as promptly as 7:30 am and stay as late as 5:30 pm in our Extended Day Care.
* 3 year old campers must be potty trained and are eligible for Lil’ Sprouts classes only. NNM students who begin 3 – 6 class in the fall are also eligible for Transition Camp. NNM students who have been a part of the Primary Community can participate at age 3 in camps designated for ages 4 and up.
