Every Family. Every Year. Enriching Every Child. Donate Now.

Every child’s education is enriched through The Near North Montessori Annual Fund.  It is our school’s primary fundraising vehicle which provides direct funding for the enhanced and unique educational initiatives that tuition alone does not cover.  In addition, as the Fund supports operating costs above tuition, it keeps the school more affordable to a wider range of students, enhancing the economic diversity of NNM.We ask that every family, every year, show their commitment to the school and the community by supporting The Near North Montessori Annual Fund.  We hope that our families make the Annual Fund a priority and make meaningful gifts to the best of their ability.  All gifts are needed and appreciated.Gifts to the NNM Annual Fund are unrestricted and allow us to strive for excellence in a variety of capacities.  Lat year, many of the school’s programs and initiatives were supported by dollars raised through the NNM  Annual Fund, including:

  • Farmessori: New enhancements supported through the NNM Annual Fund included a clay pizza oven, second greenhouse and a compost system
  • Professional Development:  Last year, gifts to the NNM Annual  Fund helped provide opportunities for more than 50 faculty and staff members to attend professional development and training opportunities.
  • Technology: New technological enhancements supported through the Fund included smart boards in each junior high and science classrooms and Mac minis for classrooms.
  • Fine Arts: NNM Annual Fund donations supported a new open ceramics studio, visting artists and the Joffrey Ballet residency program.
  • Library:  Gifts to last year’s NNM Annual Fund helped to purchase non-fiction books for the school’s library.
