When you choose a school for your child, you choose a community for your family. As a non-profit, independent school, the whole school community – parents, students, faculty, staff, grandparents, alumni and friends – are integral and essential parts of the continuing efforts to support the excellence of the school’s programs. We could not accomplish what we do every day for our children here at NNM without this exceptional support.
Here at NNM we ask for our community’s support in three meaningful ways:
The deeper your understanding of Montessori becomes, the better you can support your child to reach their full potential. To that end, we offer a number of resources throughout the year for you to learn more about Montessori education and philosophy, including parent/teacher conferences, open houses, classroom events and more formal parent education programs listed in Montessori in Action.
NNM offers many opportunities for you to play an active role in your child’s education, as volunteerism is a vital element of our school. We ask that all families lend a hand to our community throughout the year. Your time and talents are unique, irreplaceable and essential to the school’s progress.
In addition to being an active participant in school activities, we hope that you choose to contribute financially to NNM, as tuition alone does not cover the cost of educating each student. Annual fundraising contributions help us to bridge the gap that exists between tuition revenue and operating expenses.
