An independent school is an investment in excellence, and tuition and fees are vital sources of revenue to our school, as they, along with charitable giving*, fund NNM’s operating expenses. We strive to keep tuition as low as possible while continuing to attract outstanding teachers and provide the highest quality Montessori education.

*Tuition alone does not cover the cost of educating a student at NNM. Like all independent schools, NNM conducts annual fundraising programs that contribute to the operating budget, which in turn provides direct funding to the educational initiatives that tuition alone does not cover. At NNM we have two annual fundraising programs, The Near North Montessori Annual Fund and the Big Night Gala to benefit the Financial Aid Program. All parents and guardians are expected to participate in both of these initiatives each year.

Early Morning Care: $7 to $15 per day
After School Care: $15 to $25 per day
Special Activities (after school): $150 to $200 per session
Athletics: $75 to $475 per session
Music Lessons: $15 to $78 per lesson depending on length of lesson and instrument
