Nicholas Senn High School is an often over-looked high school option.  Actually, it’s four options, including Senn Arts (visual arts, dance, theater and music), the IB Diploma, a Digital Journalism Program and a Global Environmental Studies.

Check out the IB Learner Profile.

Senn Arts does collaborative work and has partnerships with several Chicago arts organizations including the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Steppenwolf, Joffrey Ballet, Joel Hall Dance, Lookingglass, Old Town and the Goodman Theater.

Senn is located between Thorndale and Ardmore, and bordered by Glenwood.  It’s 2017 graduating class is around 300 students.  Last year’s graduating class was offered over $7 million in scholarships.  Senn has over 20 athletic team options and over 50 clubs/associations available.

Contact David Gregg (dgregg@cps.edu) for info about the IB program, Carter Carey (clcarey@cps.edu) for info about Senn Arts or Principal Mary Beck (mpbeck@cps.edu) for any general information.
